International Workshop on Vehicular Technology (IWVT)
Objective: The role of this workshop is to provide a forum for focused, intensive scientific exchange among researchers and practitioners interested in the specific topic. The workshop is the primary venue for the exploration of emerging ideas as well as for the discussion of novel aspects of relevant research topics including autonomous driving, vehicles platooning, advanced driving, extended sensors, remote driving, advanced ITS, etc.
Description: In the past few years, intelligent and connected car have been developed to accelerate the research of autonomous driving, which includes image processing, environment perception, data fusion, decision making and control mechanism. Technical progress in autonomous driving and connected vehicles enables automated control mechanism and cooperative interaction of traffic participants. The key concern is the exchange of information and/or the negotiation of driving plans via V2X communications between automated vehicles, with infrastructure, with conventionally driven vehicles and with road users. The purpose of this workshop is to bring together people researching on various aspects of the autonomous driving and connected car. Participants will present and discuss relevant problems and solutions.
The technical areas to be discussed include, but are not limited to the following:
‧Autonomous Driving
‧Automated Cooperative Driving
‧Information Sharing
‧Cooperative Manoeuvre
‧Cooperative Lane Change
‧Collective Perception of Environment
‧Intention and Trajectory Planning
‧Traffic Improvement
‧Cooperative-ITS
‧LTE-V2X/5G NR V2X
